We had a brilliant time at Sarah’s place. Both she and Oliver were so helpful and nice. The villa is amazing and we loved the jacuzzi and the pool table. It was also super nice to be just able to ski right home as it is located next to the slope:) Can only recommend this place🥰

Superbe chalet idéalement situé pour un séjour ski. Entre amis ou en famille c’est l’endroit parfait pour se retrouver et passer un moment convivial (à l’image de l’hôte)!

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) stayed at Sarah's lovely home for a week in the month of Aug. The home was exactly as pictured: modern, new, clean, beautiful! The 4 bedrooms (each with their own attached bathroom) were on the downstairs level. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms all had great water temperature/pressure for showers. The huge laundry room is also in the basement and was perfect for our use. It's about a 20 min drive up the mountain from the main town of Sion to get to the home. Sion is where you'd do all your main grocery shopping. gas. and restaurants (there are some stops up the mountain, but smaller selection). We made day trips to Zermatt to hike around the Matterhorn, Mont Fort, Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva (with a short drive into France for fun), Paragliding in Interlaken and then drove into Lauterbrunnen (take the car train to shorten drive from house), Glacier 3000, and finally hiked around the top of the gondola at Combatseline. The location of the home required some 1.5-2.5 hour long drives to get to these locations - so plan for renting a vehicle to best get around. Most mornings we would waken to a beautiful mountain view with the clouds below our home and the alps peeking out on top of the clouds - amazing! We had all we needed for cooking and the coffee maker was so good. It did get hot during the day due to the odd heat wave that hit - but Sarah quickly had fans delivered to help cool off the bedrooms. There are no windows that open/close - just large floor to ceiling doors that either tip out at the top or fully open. Given the summer months and the meadow being right outside our doors that did mean a few insects got into our rooms (which couldn't be helped). Sarah was wonderful to work with. She was extremely kind and caring and her brother/wife that live nearby were also great to work with. The only recommendation I had was for Sarah to create a home manual to help with instructions on garbage, what to do for checking out, and a few instructions on using appliances/TV. I believe she's working on that now. I cannot recommend this home more...out family was so well taken care of and the views of the alps from the back deck were incredible. We truly felt we were in Switzerland and we would definitely come back to this home again.
