We had a fantastic stay at Le Refuge de Cabri chalet. We were a large group of 12 including kids. The space was absolutely perfect. The big open space of kitchen, dining and living room is extremely sociable and the second lounge downstairs gave the extra breakout space. Every bedroom had its own en suite bathroom plus additional shared toilets and showers. The sauna and hot tub were a real treat after every day on the slopes. All amenities were very handy, including the boot room with heaters, ski lockers etc The location is truly beautiful. Bettex is a charming village with a little river going through it. The chalet is within a few hundred meters of the chairlift straight into Les Menuires which made it easy to access the resort, the kids were able to go off skiing on their own too. Our hosts were lovely and very communicative. They also gave us great recommendations for the local area, eg the bread guy who delivers fresh bread every day. Would highly recommend this place!

A wonderful house in a quiet little village below the Val Thorens, it was very clean, highly recommend for families who want to spend time in the French Alps

We were a group of 12 looking for a spacious communal space for socialising with easy access to the slopes. Antoines’s chalet was perfect. It was well fitted out, everything felt new and provided the perfect base for a week’s skiing. Antoine was also very helpful and responsive.

We were a family group of 12 adults and 1 infant visiting from England. The chalet is fantastic, very warm and comfortable with great facilities. Bettex village is very peaceful with small traditional wooden chalets with a delightful river running through the middle. There are no bars, restaurants or shops in the village (short drive to Les Menuires for these), but for a family group self catering it was perfect. The Bettex ski lift is a slow 5-minute walk away, along the road by the river. It is a great connection into the 3 valleys with an easy ski home. Ski hire shops are even closer. If you stay, don't forget to use the early morning bread delivery service and the Wednesday van sells great pizzas. Antoine-Louis was great at communicating and provided everything we needed. If we can organise our family group, we will definately stay again!

We had a fantastic time at the Refuge Du Cabri. Perfect for 3 families who wanted great access to the slopes. Clean, tidy and modern chalet, fantastic communication from the host and great value for money. Village is peaceful and perfect for those just wanting to entertain themselves in the evening.
