Alex was a great host,always responded quickly, friendly and helpful. the apt. was super clean everything we needed was there. Quiet and peaceful. would definitely stay here again. We even extended our stay a few times. Thank you Alex for everything....

Great stay!! I stayed for a month with my dog. Daily fresh air and sea breezes, shore birds singing in the morning, and sunsets on the Bay. When the community beach was no-cost, after 6:00pm, Daisy and I enjoyed visiting with the evening swimmers and other dog lovers. There’s a small dog park on the way to the beach at the corner of Surf and Seagate. We made lots of friends there. There are even poop bag dispensers along the road!! We took advantage of the Coney Island beaches most days since they’re free. We didn’t visit the Beach Club since it felt like it really was only for residents. When you look at the map of the area, it seems like the beaches surrounding the community are accessible at the ends of the side roads but they’re not. There are only two gates into and out of the community. One closes at 8:00pm and the other stays open. You’ll need to call daily for a code if you are driving. No one asked me for a code when I was on foot. It’s a 3/4 mile walk to the boardwalk, and a 1 mile walk to where swimming is allowed on Coney Island beach. Coney Island Park, Aquarium, baseball stadium and amphitheater are a mile down the boardwalk, or a super quick jump on the Surf Ave bus. The apartment was very comfortable for Daisy and I. It met all our needs. Plenty of fridge and freezer space for a couple weeks of groceries. A hot plate. A kettle. Microwave. Water filter. Utensils. Bedding. Towels. Plenty of hot water. Desk. AC. Fans. Roku. And heaps of southern exposure light from street-facing windows. Alexander was very attentive and accommodating, when needed. He’s a very friendly man. We didn’t need much, but it definitely felt like he’d be there if we needed anything more. I definitely recommend this spot :)
