Our stay at The Monarch was absolutely wonderful. The house is simply gorgeous, with a fully equipped kitchen (it had everything you need to cook up a storm), spacious open living area and luxurious bathrooms. Wendy was a fantastic host, and had every little detail taken care of, including all the necessary things for a baby (portacot and high chair) and games and toys for kids of all ages. She even left us some extra special Easter treats! We honestly could not have asked for a better place to stay in Tumut and would love to come back again to visit.

Beautiful big, modern house. Airy, lots of light, amazingly well appointed, good kitchen, great BBQ, lots of parking, perfect for our group of 8. V close to town, and to Tumut River.

Our stay at the Monarch was faultless and Wendy went above and beyond to cater for our children - age-appropriate toys and games, colouring books, cookies and a comfortable cot for our 1yo, torches for ‘spotlight’ and a variety of streaming services. There is every possible inclusion that you can think of, easy instructions for all appliances and thoughtful touches throughout the home - by far the most comprehensive Airbnb that we have ever stayed in! Traveling with children aged 1-10 can be so difficult, but we will absolutely return knowing how well appointed Wendy’s home is, how well our stay will be catered for, and how many family friendly activities are in the Tumut area! We loved every second of our stay! Thank you so much, Wendy!

This is simply a gorgeous place to stay - beautifully appointed and in a terrific location in Tumut. This place has that WOW factor. Would easily be one of the best places I have stayed in. Loved the attention to detail and the small touches. We didn’t want to leave. You won’t be disappointed if you stay at the Monarch.

We had wonderful time staying at The Monarch. Had high expectations for this house but still managed to beat our expectations. The house had every single thing you could ever think about needing it. Wendy was absolutely lovely host. Will definitely come back. Throughly recommend it!
