We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and when calculated for a party of eight, it was fantastic value - even at solar eclipse rates! The house is rustic, and the upstairs floor slopes a bit, but it is well-appointed and clean. The bunk beds are all king-sized and extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, spices etc. The large garden is perfect for picnics, as well as eclipse viewing. I'll be happy to use this house as a home base for a family vacation, with beautiful nature on both sides of the border. Thanks Elendil, for your warm welcome and great hosting!

Elendil was a great host. the place was cozy and just what was needed for a snowboarding weekend. she also took care of my dog Lexi with treats and places to bring her for walks . the thing we all enjoyed the most was the arcade game In the living room. thanks for the stay Elendil!

as a repeat guest this is the place to stay when going to jays peak. easy check in and real comfy beds.

Great place for a group to stay on a trip to Jay. Would just make a note that it is a shared driveway with the house next door, so be absolutely sure to park on the left, but otherwise, we had a great time. The full-size bunk beds were perfect.
