Mitchell’s place was amazing. Clean, comfortable and safe, my three top things I always look for. I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs in East Africa and Mitchell’s place was top top. She is very friendly and very quick to respond to messages. Also the little touches of water bottles, tea and coffee for the guests is such a great touch. I will for sure be staying there again when I visit Kisumu and HIGHLY recommend her place to anyone passing through Kisumu. Thank you for the great stay. 🙏🏾❤️<><

All was well even though we arrived late. Any issues were promptly dealt with. The security is top notch. Comms were excellent right from the point of booking. Kisumu is well worth a visit to the Impala sanctuary just down the road. Lots to do locally. Lunch at Locco Beach overlooking Lake Victoria was well wicked. Kisumu museum is informative about the Luo tribe , culture and origins. All was very close to Dunga beach. oh the samaki wiki is very good and a must with greens and ugali. KFC is good as well in Kisumu city, better than in the UK, not at all greasy and the skin was crispy. Be prepared it is hot and humid. More so than Nairobi. But well worth a visit for a few days.
