6 of us stayed after the Balmoral 10k. The place was great, very clean and homely. 2 minute walk to the pub for food and drinks! Super accommodation, will definitely book again if we are up that way!

Malcolm's chalet in beautiful Braemar was perfect for our family! It's well equipped and comfortable with a really lovely bathroom. Easily accessible to the wonderful restaurants, bars and shops.

The cabin was very nice and homely with comfortable sofas and beds. It was nice and clean and there were enough heaters for the depths of a Scottish winter. The bathroom looked like it had been recently refurbished and the shower was very good. The kitchen had some new appliances like an air fryer, panini machine and tassimo coffee machine, but the kitchen cupboards were probably ready for an upgrade. The cabins are in a great location for skiing at Glenshee, for walking, for visiting Balmoral, etc. Braemar itself has a nice mix of amenities - Farquharsons is good for food, the Mews for beer, Menzies butchers sells great pies (and lots more), and there’s the Coop for everyday groceries. And then there’s cafes and gift shops. Oh and of course the Fife Arms and its Picasso paintings. They might not have a Picasso, but for decent quality, homely accommodation at a reasonable price, we’d definitely recommend Braemar Lodge cabins.

Our stay was with family (adults). We were dining locally so this accommodation was ideal. The Chalet was very well equipped and clean. The host Malcolm was friendly and so helpful. I became quite ill during the stay. Next morning Malcolm said we could leave anytime that suited due to my illness. Such a professional and friendly host and great accommodation in a beautiful part of Scotland. We will be returning.
