Very nice and peaceful place, close to the main road in Ao nang. Food, exchange points, shops, tourist points you can reach within 10-15 minutes. Recommend this place. Hotel staff is very kind.

The swimming pool and staff were lovely, but felt it was a little out the way and not the cleanest place we have stayed in.

The stay has its perks and cons. It is beautifully placed in front of a mountain which you can enjoy during your swim and breakfast but you don’t get the view from you cabin itself. We loved that they atleast had free flow of simple breakfast like bread, butter, jam and drinks. There can be some improvements to the room as in the bed as its a little hard, the toilet pipes were falling apart, the room is quite dark. Looks like it was quite famous back in 2015 but havent been upgraded much recently. Otherwise, the room and toilet was spacious and clean. They even helped us to get bikes in like less than 5 mins (very efficient and trustable). Friendly staffs that always greets you every time they see you.

We just left Phu Petra Resort and we miss it already! This was definitely one of our highlights in Thailand so far. We completely felt at home in the lovely and peaceful environment, welcomed by the most heartwarming staff and cats walking around the accommodation. It’s just magical swimming in the pool with the enormous mountains in the background. The bungalow is very cosy and spacious. The airco, the rooster and the neighbors can be a bit noisy if you’re unlucky, but that’s all forgiven thanks to this wonderful place. Amazing restaurants within walking distance and you can rent a scooter for 300 baht at the accommodation or take their one way transfer to Ao Nang Beach for free. Everything you need for a relaxing stay in Ao Nang between the mountains! A big thank you to the team!
