We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again! The hosts were very helpful from the get go. They even supplied my elderly mother with a shower chair for the main bath! They had thoughtful welcome baskets for each bedroom. Just all of the little touches go SUCH a long way. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could think of! We’ve stayed at several Airbnb’s and we highly recommend you check this one out!

The place was very comfortable, welcoming and clean. They thought of the little things which made it extra nice. Lots to do in the area. We were extremely happy with our stay.

The Old Maine Barn was perfect for our stay in Maine with friends, very clean and comfortable. It was a great place to come back to each evening to relax after a day of exploring in Acadia or Bar Harbor. It was close enough to both places for our day adventures. The home had everything we could need to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Michael was quick to answer any questions we had which was greatly appreciated. Ellsworth itself was a pleasant town. We ate at some good restaurants and it was nice to be able to get to a grocery store easily when needed. We had a great time and would stay here again if ever in the area again.

Knowing we were staying in the area for about a week, we wanted something a bigger than a hotel room. This fit the bill perfectly. It's close to anything you need, and is a short drive from Acadia and Bar Harbor. The listing matched the description. Every little thing felt like we were at home. From the cute little area for the my dog (including some treats!), to the kitchen and everything you could need in the bathrooms and bedrooms, this was amazing. We were on the run a lot, so we didn't utilize the back yard much, but it felt like it would be a great place to hang out and enjoy if we were in that sort of mood more. We stayed inside more when we were at the house. Televisions in each room was a nice touch, the wifi worked great and being we were here for the tropical storm, we felt safe. Loved having a park to take the dog to so close as well. It was clean and in a safe area, which was also nice. I hope to visit the area again and stay here once more!

Micheal’s place suited us very nicely. Lots of space . Very well equipped.Dog friendly with closed in back yard. Good seating , BBQ and fire outside. Lots of nearby hiking. Lovely walk along the river ,so close to the house. Park just down the road. We visited Bar Harbour and Bucksport. All within just a short drive. For us it was a great place to stay with lots of rustic charm.
