Caretaker smoked a lot, so avoid if that bothers you. Caretaker also had a nasty temper. Property has good amount of wear, but that’s to be expected for the price.

Nice host, friendly and hospitable. Anything I've needed it's been easy to get ahold of the owner and get assistance with. It's a quiet neighborhood with caring people which is exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this stay.

I was renting the room by the week and had stayed almost 3 weeks. I had 2 days left on the third week and had paid for another week. I had to go out of town and although I had paid for the room for another 9 days, I received a message that night asking why I had left items in a room that I had checked out of. Before I left, I had told the house manager that I'd be back and that the room was paid for. I'm guessing that she told the owner that I had gone out of town so he rented the room. I messaged him back that same night and told him that I had not checked out. I told him that I had paid for the room. He told me he was sorry but that he had rented it but when I got back, I could stay in another location. I did not stay in the other location and I've asked for a refund of the last week but was refused.
