Marie’s home is in a quiet area of town and looks out over the water. Excellent parking and comfortable furnishings make this a great place to stay. Only thing I was disappointed by was that the host still uses microfiber sheets on the bed. Should have another option of cotton sheets for warm sleepers. I had to bring my own. If you don’t have any issues with microfiber sheets, this is a great place to stay.

Really cool spot with great access to a wide variety of points of interest including downtown, the Astoria Column, and nearby state parks. Sparkling clean inside against surrounding sparkling waters outside. Bed was an acquired taste but we grew accustomed on nights 2 and 3. There is a cement and construction materials loading location about .5-.75 mi up the road and the big trucks do make some noise as they leave for jobs in the morning…but I’d rather that than the sea lions that bark much of the day directly under many of the downtown waterfront hotels. Overall very positive and high value stay.

This place is immaculate. It has a nice design such that the bedroom shares a wall with no one. Kitchen is big, and everything is in great repair. Very nice overall.
