Eine perfekte Unterkunft mitten im Herzen von Gent. Keine Minute und du bist mitten im Geschehen. Und trotzdem ist der private Innenhof eine ruhige Anlaufstelle wenn mal eine Pause gewünscht ist. Das Bett ist wirklich extrem bequem! Die Schallplattenanlage zauberte uns jeden Tag mit frischen Kaffee, ein Lächeln ins Gesicht! Mechiel und Heleen haben uns unglaublich viele Tipps gegeben, denen wir nachgingen und absolut begeistert waren. Es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen! Für uns: 10 von 10 Sternen! Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Great location on a side street that was nice and quiet, but still very walkable to everything. Comfortable mattress, excellent espresso maker and tea options. Even minibar offerings we didn't try but very thoughtful. The hosts are super friendly and responsive and let us check out late!

We had a perfect stay at Mechiel and Heleen's place! They have created a cosy, mid-century haven in a wonderful part of Ghent. It is an ideal location, right by the castle (you can see the turret and flag fluttering from the bedroom window), tucked down a quiet street but still close to lots of great restaurants and bars. When you're not out and about in Ghent, the flat is a great place to hang out - it has everything you need and more! Everything has been thought through with lovely touches such as the minibar and postcards, and authentic and stylish décor. We had a lovely evening choosing different records and hanging out in the living space. There's delicious coffee and loose-leaf tea, and the bed is super comfortable. The outdoor space is beautiful and sometimes you might meet the cat! We would highly recommend staying here if you choose to come to Ghent - thank you Mechiel & Heleen!
