This is my second stay at Balaclava Cottage. So close to many beautiful beaches, watch the sunset at Rhosneigr if you get chance. Sue mentioned the Jaspels cider farm, worth a visit 10 mins away. Bought some beautiful earrings from seapigs, worth a visit too. It was my birthday whilst away, Sue had very kindly left me a card & gift, so very thoughtful. As a solo traveler I feel safe at the cottage and its surroundings, very homely and no TV.. . Yes!! That's a bonus for me. Turns out we have mutual friends, small world.. . or is it. Thanks for everything Sue, was lovely to see you, and I will be back 💛 Xx

A secluded and peaceful place. You probably need to drive to get to places but we knew this beforehand. A 10 to 20 minute drive will get you to beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants etc. We enjoyed a walk directly from Sue's place. Sue made us feel very much at home but gave us our private space as well. The ensuite Shower/toilet area was excellent. The functional Kitchen has everything you need and there is a cosy Snug to relax in. If available we would love to stay again.🙂

Sue was very welcoming and friendly. Bedroom was clean, spacious and comfortable. Sue even provided breakfast whicb was very kind. A quick stop off for us on our way to Ireland and it was raining so we didn’t really explore further afield.

Had a fantastic stay, really felt at home. The cottage and surroundings are lovely. Sue was a wonderful host, hospitality was second to none, nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom is really spacious and the ensuite is amazing. Will book again for September. .. feel totally relaxed. Thank you Sue 🤩
