This home sits in an oasis of calm, surrounded by trees and the Chateauguay river with the soothing sound of rapids. All-cotton bedsheets and towels, well appointed kitchen and an excellent selection of books put a great finishing touch on this outstanding space.

This stone chalet across from Chateauguauy River is like time travel back to the origins of Quebec. The original stone building was constructed around 1820 and it is cool in hot weather. But also there is a Breeze off the river. It has a great feel with the open plan, lovely eating areas, and comfy beds. Catherine is a wonderful hostess and very helpful. We had a blast at Catherine’s place. It felt like our home away from home. The house is a wonderful gem, charming, clean, very well decorated and super equipped. The surrounding is so peaceful and the river view is soothing. We had the chance to spend some quality time with Catherine, and we kept amazing memories from our stay at her place. Highly recommended!

A stunning home on the water in a quiet and scenic area in Chateauguay. We felt like we were in a cottage in the country but still a reasonable commute away from Montreal. We absolutely loved everything about staying here and hope to return soon!
