The house was good however there were some issues. On the listing there were no pictures of the bedrooms in the basement, My family and I had no idea of how the bedrooms would be like. The windows in the basement were clear; there was no sense of privacy. One of the bedrooms in the basement did not have a proper window, It was covered with some gray foil. In the home, there were issues with hot water as well. We did not get hot water in the shower; it would be cold at times. The water from the tap was also slow. We also had an issue with the towel handles in all of the washrooms. They would constantly fall down; they were not properly installed. My family and I also had issues with the washing machine; the breaker for that would turn off frequently. The home did not have a private backyard. It was a shared backyard, and it felt like we did not have any privacy.

We noticed some issues with the build quality and safety standards of the home, as follows: 1. The microwave/hood fan was not installed and electrically connected to meet code. Specifically, the unit's electrical cord, which should have a three-prong plug, was instead pigtail wired to a circuit and the exposed wiring was left on top of the microwave unit, which left the unit about one inch out of level since the cord was in the way. The existing setup is a spark and fire hazard. 2. The dishwasher had an error fault which initially prevented a load of dishes from being run. We had to investigate the error code online and follow the instructions to recycle the power and hit a sequence of dishwasher panel buttons to get it to restart. 3. The sliding door leading to the back yard has no concrete step beneath, leaving a three-foot drop to the ground. 4. The tracks for the sliding shower doors in the ensuite and basement bathrooms were improperly installed.
