An overall great place when staying in Jokkmokk! Close to the town centre, spacious and comfortable, nature is close by and the neighborhood is really quite. Good rest is guaranteed. Jonas is super helpful and willing to share about the local area and people which was really interesting to listen to. I would definitely return. Thank you Jonas!

Staying with Jonas in Jokkmokk was a wonderful experience. The room is spacious, cosy and warm, offering all the amenities you need. Jonas is a very warm and hospitable person; broadminded and with a great sense of humor. He’ll respect your privacy but when you need him, he’ll be there for you. The location is ideally situated if you love nature and love to hike or ski. The house is located in the most outward street of the village, so leave the house from the back and you are right in the middle of the forest and hills surrounding Jokkmokk to start your adventure. If you love to meet rain deer, don’t be surprised to find one on the lawn or walking the street in front of the house. Because Jonas is a native Jokkmokkian, he knows all the beautiful places to visit in both the winter and the summer. If you are interested in learning more about the (indigenous) Sami culture, you’ll be in the right place - right in the center of Sapmi. The house is clean and continuously heated, day and night, in the winter. The rooms are located on the ground floor and are separated from the owner’s quarters.; for optimal privacy. Washing machine & dryer can be used for a small fee. The internet connection is superb (fiber) at 50mb/sec. without interruption. There is a large refrigerator in the hallway and a microwave oven in the room. Shared kitchen and washing facilities. Jonas and his cosy house wil welcome you and make sure you have an unforgettable holiday.
