Miranda's place worked great for our needs. Our group of three was in town for the Iditarod finish and the house was about 4 blocks from Front Street where the finish, visitor center, and Iditarod Headquarters are located. The area felt safe at all hours of the day and night. This room had a private bathroom which had no door but the toilet is in the back corner so privacy is still possible. We used the cot for our third person, worked well. There is a caretaker on the property and five rental rooms. The living spaces are shared but plenty of room for all guests. We enjoyed getting to know the others staying during our visit. This is a bed and breakfast! Miranda had delicious coffee cake and oatmeal available, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and in the fridge farm fresh eggs, the best biscuit and gravy I have ever had (even better than my homemade recipe). The food was a wonderful surprise for our visit. Miranda was a quick communicator to all my questions. We would stay again!

Colin, the caretaker, was very helpful. Nice room and very clean. Some traffic noise. Convenient to supermarket and restaurant.
