This homestead is spectacular - from the views and location, the upkeep and comfort, to the history of the property and the meticulous renovation Leif has done. We so appreciated how welcoming Leif was and his hiking/exploration recommendations, what incredible surroundings to be in. And the spa is something else - with a cold plunge in the river just across the field, it's complete. Looking forward to exploring more of Norway one day, hopefully in winter for the backcountry skiing in this area!

Our time at Nikkahuset was just perfect. The area, the nature, the river, the house, the beautiful design with tons of details and full of quality - and the friendly atmosphere around Leif and his family - this was just perfect.
