This property is located in the new Snowcreek Phase VII, referred to as CreekHouse, where the homes border a meadow along Mammoth Creek. In this location you will enjoy natural surroundings, mountain views, and a sense of space while being a quick walk, bike ride, or drive away from shopping, dining, and golf along Old Mammoth Road. Inspired by the Old West, this large modern townhome has been colorfully decorated with a sense of history and a love of the Eastern Sierra. Antiques and eclectic accent pieces take you back in time. Enjoy works by local artists highlighting the beauty of places you'll want to visit. Bright and airy in the daytime, the vaulted ceiling rooms also have warm mood lighting for relaxing evenings. The living room is ready for your lively gatherings or quiet recharge time. Here you will find a wood-burning fireplace, flat-screen TV, and ample seating in an open plan with a large dining table and kitchen island. This room has plentiful daylight and views. In the evening, the dimmable lights and decor make it feel like a private lodge. Next to the living room, a balcony with excellent mountain views invites you outside for morning coffee, barbecues, or summer evenings under the stars. Sleeping arrangements for up to 8 people are provided in two bedroom suites and a third bedroom with a bunk bed that opens to the balcony. The elegant master suite offers mountain and meadow views, a king bed, and a spacious bathroom with a large bathtub and separate shower. The guest suite with queen bed has a cozy western feel and an idyllic view of nearby trees lining a little stream along the meadow edge. Both suites include smart TVs. The tall sunny bunk bed room has a sturdy pine full-over-full bunk bed made by Amish craftspeople. Dogs are welcome and this is an ideal neighborhood for walks! As you plan your trip, please think about how to keep your furry friend happy if they're alone in the house while you're out enjoying places where a doggie can't go. The large modern kitchen is ready for ambitious meal preparation with a commercial 6-burner gas stove and precise electric oven along with the appliances and kitchenware a cook expects. Or forget cooking and just make yourself a cup of coffee or tea on the house, then enjoy local dining. Just a short walk away, the new CreekHouse Jacuzzi offers a relaxing soak after an active day. Old Mammoth Road and the paved Town Loop trail are just around the corner, providing quick access to the Snowcreek Golf Course and downtown Mammoth. Walk out the front door and follow the trees to be rewarded with sweeping views of Mammoth Mountain and Sherwin Meadows within minutes. A playground is an easy 15-minute walk away, with restaurants and the Vons shopping center just beyond. In the other direction, the trail leads to the Snowcreek Athletic Club, meadow trails, and a forest below the Eagle Lodge on Mammoth Mountain. In-town ski lifts--Eagle Express and the Village Gondola--are about 5 minutes' drive away, or you can make a 10-minute walk to the closest bus stop. Conveniences at the townhouse include private parking in a two-car garage and two-car driveway. EV cars can charge in the garage if needed via a 110V outlet (for optimal charging, there is a Tesla supercharger station in town). There is plenty of space downstairs for your outdoor adventure gear. Central heating is controlled by a Nest unit, with humidifiers, fans, and a space heater providing additional comfort. This is a great condo in Mammoth. The decor is first class and made the place so cosy. There is beautiful art in every room. The bedding, furnishings were very comfortable. Obvious that the owner really cares. Everything I needed in the kitchen. They provide pretty much everything you need. Coffee, sugar, oatmeal, tea. Soaps for showers, hand washing were in dispensers. Only comment I would make was it would have been nice to have more towels than just one per guest and spa towels. We really enjoyed our time there. The neighborhood is really beautiful and walkable into the village where is there is a Vons/restaurants.
Beautiful condo, great location, excellent host. Communication was exceptional, condo was very very well appointed and equipped. We'd be very pleased to stay here again.
