Our stay at Laurie’s Airbnb was wonderful. Laurie was incredible to work with. We appreciated her quick response to our messages. The house is beautiful, relaxing, comfortable and clean. The back patio was nice to sit at and enjoy the view of the mountains. The house layout was wonderful for our big family to stay at and not trip over each other!

This is a wonderful vacation home with lots of room, lots of light shining through the windows, a nice outdoor patio, and easy access to trails. Everything is fresh, clean and well maintained. Laurie is a very attentive and thoughtful hostess. We loved our stay and highly recommend the Mountain-View House !

OVERALL-BEST The best stay at an AirB&B!!! This is a custom designed home: new, quiet, absolutely beautiful, impeccable and stocked to the max! Hospitality is top notch! KITCHEN-BEAUTIFUL & STOCKED We were surprised to see all of the items there for our use. If you arrive late at night, they have you covered for the next morning so you have time to get to the store. Everything you could want ….and more…..(we used the microwave popcorn but left a new cereal and a new bag of chips). Coffee machine is a Keurig, coffee by the cup. BEDROOMS-COMFORTABLE The beds have plenty of blankets. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms so you can control the air flow. Large rooms with direct access to large and lovely bathrooms. Closets are designed with the traveler in mind…plenty of hangers, shelf space and hanging space. BATHROOMS-CLEAN & STOCKED Plenty of towels. Clean and new! When we opened the cabinet in the primary bath we were surprised to see so many supplies on hand for their guests who left certain items at home. We didn’t use any because we remembered all of ours….Our last trip we forgot a toothbrush and had to wait until the next day to get one. It is little details like this that make a difference in the start of your trip. LAUNDRY-NEW The machines are new! The hostess has detergent and dryer sheets available for your use. GARAGE-BIG! The garage is oversized and spotless. It also has two paddle boards with all the gear needed to paddle on Palmer Lake. The hostess gives you the garage door opener to use while you are there. This is a big plus, especially if there is bad weather. LOCATION-Loved it! This house is located a block off of the main drive. It is across the street and in walking distance from the local restaurants, homemade ice cream shop and Palmer Lake! There are trails all around for hiking and bike riding (rockey mountain bike delivered bikes to the house (rental)). The train track is down the hill and across the street. The house is so well insulated that we didn’t notice it much. WILDLIFE-Abundant There were bucks, doe, fawn and bunnies in the backyard almost daily! We saw them up close on a bike ride, too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AIR B & B !!!!!!! Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home! Grateful!

Great place for a large family or group. Separate rooms for when that’s needed and big common areas for when you want to be together. Quiet street for kids and easy walk to cute Palmer Lake.

No question this a 5-star rating! Very nice location to enjoy activities both in Denver and Colorado Springs without having to drive too far to either. A great vacation location with much to do. Hiking (Palmer Lake reservoir is just up street), Garden of the Gods (highly recommend the e-bike tour!), TopGolf, White Water Rafting, Rockies game were some of the highlights. When we arrived the house was even stocked with a few groceries (eggs, butter, bread, milk). We've stayed in a lot of vacation rental homes and never have we had such great service! So helpful especially when you are getting into town late. Upon arrival the house was super clean and we even noticed how nice the whole house smelled every time we got back to the house. The kitchen was very well stocked and if there was something all we had to do was ask. Sleeping accommodations were great. The beds were comfy, and we had plenty of space (7 adults). Bathroom and shower options were very nice as well. Although we spent most of our time out and about the living room was comfy and had a nice TV setup. We grilled often and the back patio is a nice location off the back of the house with good proximity to the kitchen. We enjoyed the outdoor wildlife as most mornings we had deer right in the backyard. In summary, very nice house, outstanding hosts, highly recommend!!!
