Beautiful property, excellent location, wonderful hosts, absolute value for money stay. We loved our stay in the property. Everything is available keeping in mind the needs of a typical family travelling group.Felt like our own home in the mountains.

It is a good place if you are looking for a place to relax on your day off. it is well maintained with all the amenities listed. But if you are planning to visit Nanital or Ranikhet..it is far from this place and travel at night is not safe. Also...there is a little bit issue for privacy as on both the days caretaker was sitting inside while we were having the breakfast. We asked her to come around 9:40 on the day of checkout. but she was there at 9 and it is little awkward. Also...just a suggestion, since we are paying a fair amount of money for booking the place..charging extra for bonfire is little unreasonable.

I had planned a 3 nights stay at Cottage Winterfell along with my family. As usual we preferred to stay away from crowded locations. Located on roadside, this nice little cottage is reachable after walking up a flight of stairs. We found it exactly as per details mentioned on Airbnb ideal for a small family .A nice balcony along with bedroom upstairs gives you nice views of beautiful surroundings around. Few books , indoor games and a nice wall mounted sound bar are kept by owner to enjoy your stay here.. During evening we enjoyed bonfire . There is a dedicated place meant for that. Finally a small but well decked kitchen is available at your disposal. There are 2 restaurants located in proximity, owned by their respective homestays, open for everyone till late evening.I We really enjoyed our stay at Cottage Winterfell and would recommend it to others as well.
