Villa Solana is an exquisite modern Italian style home with a seamless open air design. The glass doors open to the infinity pool and patio lounge areas creating the ideal indoor and outdoor setting. This home is located in the quiet neighborhood of Golondrinas inside the gated community of Hacienda Pinilla. Just minutes walk to the beach through private beach access. Beautiful villa with spacious interiors washed in natural light. 5 bedrooms and is set up for 15 guests. The 5th bedroom does not have a private ensuite bathroom, it must use the shared bathroom in the main house. Fully equipped modern Italian kitchen Two TV living room spaces Rancho with ping pong table Garden terraces Large Infinity pool Indoor and outdoor dining experience Outdoor BBQ kitchen Soccer field Air conditioning in every room Daily maid service included.

The hose is exactly as advertised. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The people couldn’t be nicer, our daily house cleaning was amazing and she even made breakfast every day for us 10/10 recommending this house if you ever stay in Tamarindo!
We had an amazing week. 2 families, 6 kids. Everyone had a great time. The pool was amazing. The Beach Club nearby was so fun. The house was perfect for us. Ethel was so wonderful. Highly recommend.
Phenomenal home in a secluded + serene gated community. There were a plethora of activities to enjoy at the home, the community offered so many added benefits like pickleball, tennis, horseback riding and beach club, the nearby city Tamarindo was fun, and it was close to day trips to jungle adventures. Property manager is communicative and sends you a dashboard with information on local restaurants, tours, community. One of the highlights had to be Ethel: who comes to the home for four house: makes beds, lunch and keeps it all tidy so you feel as though your in a luxury hotel. Would stay in this community again! Hacienda pinilla is definitely impressive. 5 stars all the way:
The place was great. We were two families with 5 kids and the house felt big. The pool is nice and the grounds have things to do like ping pong table and soccer field. We felt super safe in the community as well. The concierge team for the property were amazing. They were super responsive and helped organize food, travel, restaurants etc. Really made our lives easy with all the kids. Maybe the only downside was the beach that is close to the property. It was really wavy with some strong currents, so not something for little kids. Overall, great place to stay in Costa Rica.

BEACH CLUB
Beachfront infinity pool, tiki bar and restaurant, spa, soccer and volleyball courts, fitness center, and sun up to sun down the lifeguarded beach at Playa Avellanas. There is a $10 entry fee per person that is then used as credit at the bar and restaurant.
Beach Club has an annual closing in October every year.
JW MARRIOTT HOTEL
Hacienda Pinilla is home to the J W Marriott hotel, as a guest of Villa Solana you have access to the numerous restaurants on offer.
You can also purchase a day pass for use of the JW pool and amenities.

Explore the 4500-acre ranch that is Hacienda Pinilla. Guided horseback tours are available at any time, the tours can be customized to fit your group from 30 mins to 2 hrs the ride takes you through the forest and then along the secluded beaches and river mouths all here within the ranch.
MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS
There are both Amateur and pro trails
The pro trails are 30kms running all throughout the ranch
The amateur trails are 15kms
These trails are also great for hiking and exploring the 4500 acres.
SURFING
Hacienda Pinilla has to be one of the best locations in Costa Rica to base your surf trip. With 6 waves just on Playa Avellanas and private access to the beach breaks of playa Langosta you don't even need to leave the ranch, but if you looking to explore the area, the famous Playa Negra reef breaks are just 10 minutes south and the river mouth and beach breaks of Tamarindo just 10 minutes to the north.
*We would like to inform you about construction happening in the community close to Villa Solana. We will be experiencing construction noise for the coming months June through October 2023.
Unfortunately, this is something we cannot control but we wanted you to know and help in any way we can.*
Renting a vehicle to get around the neighborhood is highly recommended. The home has a covered carport.
