Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! Matthias was a super responsive host, very friendly, and his assistant Sabine was also on top of all of our questions about the surrounding area and checking in. We also checked in very late on our day of arrival and Sabine was awesome! She met us there at the place to make sure we got in OK and to make sure we knew where everything was and just really took care of us like we were family. We would absolutely stay here again 1,000 times! And we will recommend to any of our friends or family that travel over to the Algarve region of Portugal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a wonderful little gem in the countryside. We needed to stay in the area and this place was perfect. The little touches in the villa were very much appreciated. The villa was ideal for us, there were 4 adults staying and it was just right. The directions from the airport were spot on. A lovely weekend, thank you Matthias.

Very well designed, contemporary space with lovely details. Equipped with everything necessary, lots of outdoor space and a peaceful place to spend time. Excellent communication and help throughout.

Matthias and Sabina are doing everything they can to give you the best experience of the Algarve. They pay great attention to details and make you feel at home. The house is spotless and the kitchen is very well-equipped, especially handy if you want to do some home cooking when you are on a holiday with a baby. Greatly recommend it, and would love to come back with hopefully a bit better weather.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Saudade - we particularly enjoyed the privacy of the terrace, which was so spacious and has lots of different lounging areas with options for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade. The house itself was also spacious, in a traditional style but with the function of a modern home - the kitchen in particular had everything we needed (and more) and we cooked most meals at home. Matthias was a great host - his communication was excellent and he shared some amazing local recommendations. We were welcomed by Sabina who was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. As noted in the listing a car is essential, and if you're not a confident driver you may find it tricky driving and parking on the gravel road. Overall we had an amazing stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again next time we're in the Algarve! Thank you Matthias and Sabina :)
