Nice clean house. Perfect little getaway spot with a good location to the north Shore. It was also very nice having firewood there for our family to enjoy a bonfire.

I was shocked to receive instructions, not requests, via messaging from the host about cleaning tasks to be done before I leave, one related to laundry, another to trash collection, and another about dishwashing. I normally avoid places that try to transfer such chores to guests. That's why I use hotels far more often than Airbnbs these days. So I revisited the listing to find out where I went wrong. These things were not under House Rules but under a category called Other things to know or something like that. It read very similar to the host's message except the one related to dishwashing was under a subcategory of Requests, not an instruction. Other than not liking that, I found the stay pleasant and enjoyable and the host was friendly, professional, and responsive. If being told to do cleaning things doesn't bother you, I think you will enjoy staying in this nice little house that is obviously well cared-for.
