The former fireplace niche has been replastered and now offers space for the TV set. The furniture of the apartment follows the overall style and offers comfortable seating. The adjustable plissees, together with the opaque curtains, provide privacy and coziness if desired. A large hand-knotted oriental carpet (Bibibaff province) as well as genuine oil paintings with motifs mainly from the Harz region complete the furnishings. The large bathroom offers plenty of space and is suitable for people with limited mobility. The extra-wide shower can be entered without a step. There is a historic accordion shutter at the window. A large towel warmer and an extra radiator provide cozy warmth. Towels and hand-washing soap are included in the overnight rate. A 1.80 m wide double bed in front of a brick wall offers plenty of space for a pleasant night's rest. Despite its central location, the apartment is surprisingly quiet, as there is no through traffic. In addition, the new, high-quality oak windows provide a strong attenuation of external noise. The exterior wall is insulated by clay plaster and creates a pleasant indoor climate.
