There just aren’t the words to express how much we loved this place!!! We have never spent so much time at a rental!!! We enjoyed it so much, we were slow to leave each day and quick to return from our adventures just to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the place!!! We are avid outdoor loving people and this was by far my favourite rental property for that reason. The outdoor set up and porch is perfect!!! Nights by the fire and star gazing were incredible!!! The house was immaculate and offered everything we needed and then some! For those traveling to the area, I highly recommend Ozark Cafe, Lost Valley Trails- brave it out to the cave waterfall!!!! The Whitaker Point Trail was also incredible and worth it to sit on the rocks at the end and absorb all the beauty and surroundings. Thank you so much for opening up Steve’s Place for all to enjoy!! The stay was exactly what we needed to reset. Exceeded our expectations!! John was the best and most responsive host we have encountere

The photos description don’t do this place justice, it’s even more beautiful than the photos. We reserved this place for the 2024 solar eclipse, I fell in love with the property based on photos of the wide open spaces and nearly 180° view of the sky. The amenities for outdoor living are incredible: a fire pit, a fire table on the back porch for cocktails on a chilly night, even a horseshoe set up. The kitchen was well equipped, we made quite a special day of the eclipse and had decorative bowls to set out food treats, and an excellent grill set for grilling meats. We are from out of state with family nearby, and we sent the link to the property to our family as well. They are avid star gazers, and no one could believe what a gorgeous property this was. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was so friendly and helpful. This property has inspired us that we need to visit Arkansas more often. Tip for parents bringing kids, the upstairs bed is more comfortable than the downstairs.
