Welcome! Great Island Ocean Club is a unique, private gated community nestled along 1/4 mile private beach on Nantucket Sound. A family vacation area since1947, located near golf, shopping, local restaurants and other vacation activities. This home can be rented in total and/or with separate in-law apartment. This spacious house is being rented as a 2 Bedroom, 3 Bath Home- or if additional space is needed (additional fee) with an attached in-law apartment that has a spacious bedroom with a king bed and its own private deck, full bath, kitchenette and living room space that includes a comfy sleeper sofa . The home is just steps to Private Beach & Pool. The Floor Plan includes Spacious Kitchen & Dining area that opens to Sunny Living Room w/Sliders to Deck & Outdoor Shower. There is also a Sitting Area & Full Bath. Upstairs are 2 Bedrooms each with its own Full Bath & one having Sliders to Balcony with Peaks of Nantucket Sound.

This is our second stay at this location. Mary Ellen is an excellent host and the house is exceptional! We will be back next year!!

We had a perfect week staying in this home with our little daughter. Mary Ellen was hospitable and responsive - truly the perfect host. The house was clean and beautiful, and included everything we needed and wanted for a day at the beach or pool or just to stay at the house, chill, and bbq. The community was safe for our family with a security entrance. And the access to the beach and private pool was unmatched. Highly recommend this house for future stays.

Great location and beautiful home. Communication was immediate and the hosts were available throughout our stay. Private beach and amenities of the community truly provide a little oasis! Highly recommend.

The House- The House is beautiful. Great views from 2nd floor deck. Stocked very well with supplies. Everything worked. Very well taken care of. The Host- Excellent communication. Mary Ellen gave us a full tour which was very helpful. Nothing was missed. We had a great time and made many memories! We will be back again next year!!

There are a lot of things to do in the Yarmouth area, there are plenty of restaurants serving the freshest seafood. There are many mini golf places around: From the famous Pirates Cove to the not less famous Skull Island. Nearby there is access to take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, or go fishing for the day.
We are also very close to Sea Gull beach and Lewis pond. Sea Gull beach is beautiful, and the epitome of what a cape beach is. Lewis pond is great for kayaks as it has access to Parker's river and you can kayak for days on end. We are also close to Lewis bay, which is calmer inlet of Nantucket sound if that is your preference.
Biking is also great and easy.
