Stayed at the cabin for a week. Had a great vacation, traveled around to different places but also took a few days just to relax. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend a vacation, this place is amazing.

*The home was ok. There was a smell that was musty and 'wet'. We like to un-pack and hang our clothes up or put them away in drawers. The drawers were molding smelling and we 'lived out of our suitcases'. When we arrived the windows were ALL down ~ stuffy and moldy smell ~ once we opened the windows and put the fans on exhaust, it was tolerable. *Because of the excessive heat, we had to move the tv into the 3 season porch *The listing mentioned a paddle boat ~ which was not there. It also mentioned Netflix and fishing rods~none *When you rent a vacation home you expect to have certain items: extra blankets, basic spices for cooking, and maybe a vacuum to clean area rugs ~ nothing. Cut firewood~ BYO~ Instructions said to bring the hose down to the fire pit: We had to buy a hose. *Back step was dangerously wobbly as well as the dock. Life jackets smelled! BYO your own pillows!!!! Discusting and just gross!!!! Kayaking every morning was the highlight and I enjoyed the peace & quiet
