Hello My name is Janet and I enjoy helping others and have worked in various jobs involving people. My background is mainly Retail Management and Sales. We have relocated a number of times even state to state and understand how businesspeople/families sometimes have to find a place to stay temporarily. We recommend booking as far out as you need the stay, for our place usually gets booked rather quick. If you stay more than 60 days, we can offer you a special rate. No smoking, guests or parties are allowed. We currently have no pets on the premises for those allergic or concerned of noise such as barking. Sorry, we would enjoy your pets, but they are not allowed in order to keep the place clean for other guests. I was a super host for 2 1/2 years in our home near Madison, WI and enjoyed doing it very much. We recently relocated to be near family to the River Falls/Hudson area. I now have lived in the River Falls area for a while and it's amazing! There is plenty of things to do nearby, shopping, skiing, sport events, festivals, the arts, lakes, rivers, walking and biking trails and the Stillwater/Hudson/Twin Cities area is just minutes away for vacationers or visitors. We also have beds that are quality almost like a hotel. I know what's it's like to sleep on a cheap, foam platform bed and to me it's not very comfortable or worthwhile. Just so you are aware this entire apartment is in our lower-level walk-out basement (it has an air purifier for those w/allergies), but we have a portable heater, and fan if you need the temperatures to be more comfortable. I offer FREE Keurig coffee and snacks. My friends would describe me as friendly, open minded, genuine, nice and caring! My husband Mark is also kind and helpful. Occasionally, he will help a guest get out of our driveway if it's a snowy/icy morning. We do have a neighbor that plows us out, but sometimes we may ask you to park on the road in case of a big snowstorm if you need to leave early. Mark works remotely but plans to retire in the next year or two. He is willing to answer any questions about the area and often offers guests some helpful suggestions. If you have any questions, specific needs or requests don't hesitate to inquire beforehand. We prefer long-term guests but are open to any duration of 1-3 nights or more. There are some basic rules while staying in our private residence, but we also give you the privacy you need. Thanks for reading this and we hope to meet you shortly?
