This charming detached cottage (65 m2), with a spacious garden, is situated at the center of the Netherlands at the Veluwe, surrounded by beautiful nature. The ideal place to relax. From our cottage you can try one of the many mountain bike trails or walk to all kinds of nature: forest, heather, sand drift and a pinetum. Diagonally behind the house is ‘the Uilenbos’ a restaurant, with a large outdoor playground, indoor playground and petting zoo. Our cottage is situated at the holiday park 'de Goudsberg' (no park amenities) in the middle of nature. The closest village town centre is a 30 minute walk or 5-10 minutes by car. The house is fully equipped and comes with many extras (such as a Weber coal barbecue -please do bring your own charcoal-, 2 adult bicycles & 1 child bike, trampoline, swings, veranda, spacious equipped kitchen, toys, books and board games). With 3 bedrooms, you have all the flexibility in terms of the number of people and sleeping places. Please be aware that the stairs to the attic are narrow and steep. Also the ceiling of the attic is relatively low; at the beginning of the attic (where the desk is) the height is approximately 2 meters. The ceiling height where the beds are is around 1,5 meters. We have a baby cot available in case you need it. There is also the possibility to charge electric bicycles, outside but covered. Something to note: the stairs to the attic are narrow and steep. At the adjacent campsite, you can use the tennis courts (13 euro per hour), the indoor swimming pool and, if open, the outdoor pool (6 euro pp) and mini golf (6 euro from 12 years, 4 euro under 12 years) The ideal place to enjoy nature and relax, as well as enjoy the many sights in the area. In the area you will find the National Park Hoge Veluwe (14 km), Ginkelse heide (12 km), 3 zoos, the beautiful city of Amersfoort, and many nice local farmers / land shops, even Amsterdam is only 1 hour drive away. For the hot days, a charming forest pool in Lunteren is a 15-minute walk away (through the forest). Lunteren Train Station is 2 km away. You can easily check in and out by yourself by means of a combination lock on the front door. The spacious kitchen and available equipment offers plenty of opportunity to cook and bake. Eating out is also possible, with 2 restaurants within walking distance and many others in the area.
