The lodge is surrounded by trees, fields, and towering Montana mountains. Located in the Clark Fork Valley, your lodge is five miles from main street diners and coffee shops. Three bedrooms, a generous kitchen, and gaping front-room windows give your group an environment for solitude and relaxation. If the panoramic views are not enough, experience them for yourself on the various trailheads, walking paths, or a river kayak adventure. NOTE: All livings spaces are disinfected prior to entry.

This is our fourth stay. Could I provide a stronger recommendation? :) I have hosted two mom’s weekends and two dad’s weekends at this spot. From start to finish, you will find Cindy to be accommodating and responsive. The property itself is lovely with all the accoutrements as described. The home is cozy with its wood-burning stove and picturesque views. The kitchen has plentiful cooking, serving and eating necessities - and for a big group! There is ample parking and wonderful outdoor space and decks with a view. A short walk (less than a mile) takes you to a great view of the river from atop the Historic High Bridge. You can also walk further into Thompson Falls (about a mile) and access the riverside hiking trail or get a coffee or breakfast in town via the High Bridge. Why do we return? The host is extremely accommodating. The place and the space is lovely. And it’s always CLEAN. Don’t wait. Just book this if you’re interested.

The Green Acres Estate is situated roughly a quarter of a mile from the next closest, private dwelling. Thompson Falls' locals are helpful and extremely familiar with the local attractions. In fact, nearly every resident is accustomed to questions from out-of-towners (at some point, all of us were considered vacationers too). For Mark and I, that is how we found this Estate.
Upon request, a detailed list of eateries, bars, equipment rentals, and local attractions are available. Below is a brief list of local offerings:
(1) Walking Paths and Mountain Trails
(2) Bicycling and Kayaking
(3) River Floats and Local Swimming Holes
(4) Fly Fishing and Hunting
(5) Locally Owned Diners and Cafes
(6) Local Golf Course(s) and Airport(s)
Moreover, a short history of Thompson Falls (settled in 1809) is available upon request.

Mainstreet is a 10-minute drive, 10-minute bike ride, or 15-minute walk from the lodge. Most importantly, the Grocery Store (Harvest Foods) is a 15-minute drive from the Estate. The liquor store, gas station, pharmacy, hardware store, and others are on Mainstreet (additional store front types are available upon request).

Here, Mark and Cindy are empty nesters and maintain their internet business of 25+ years on their 30-acre ranch. The couple enjoys living, working, in this close-knit community, exploring the beauty and tranquility that mother nature has to offer each day of its changing seasons where life becomes a "Big Sky" adventure.
