Welcome to the Brazos Riverside Cottage! Sitting on a glorious slice of untouched Central Texas beauty, the Riverside Cottage lies on the banks of the Brazos River and puts you within 25 mins of Waco's famed attractions like the Magnolia Silos and Baylor University! Retreat to Riverside Acres and enjoy the sight of grazing deer, kayaking, horseshoes, campfires, stargazing, or long peaceful walks through nature. Come on out and enjoy the getaway! You won't regret it. The Riverside Cottage is beautifully staged bringing both modern and rustic themes into the living spaces. The open concept living area is perfect for spending time together. The spacious sectional sofa invites you to kick back and relax while dinner is prepared. The dining area includes a table w/ 4 chairs and a large bar w/4 stools. Enjoy 2 spacious bedrooms with KING Beds and one modern bath w/ walk-in-shower. A blow up mattress and pack-n-play is also available. The back porch is setup for outdoor dinging/lounging overlooking the river. The porch also includes a setup for charcoal or wood chip grilling or smoking. Note: The wood-burning stove in the living room is inoperable.

We were looking for quiet place away from it all and found just that. The cottage is beautifully located along the river. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some R&R.
This house is a little spot of heaven on the Brazos. Right by the river and no close neighbors. House was well stocked and comfy. Book it
We had a great visit. The location is beautiful and private plus we loved all the wildlife. The solar eclipse was the reason for the visit and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot. Highly recommend!
Our family enjoyed our stay at Andrew’s beautiful place in Aquilla. The house is lovely and comfortable. If you enjoy being outside, this is the place for you. We enjoyed kayaking, sitting by the river, relaxing by the outdoor fire, walking around and seeing deer, and more. The views of the river, trees, and the open sky are refreshing and beautiful. We highly recommend this place of paradise and hope to stay here again.

Riverside Acres is a gated riverside community. The neighborhood was developed in 2020. As of Fall 2023, the Brazos Riverside Cottage is the only home in the community with 3 others at different phases of construction. When completed the entire community covering 200+acres will only include 20 homes.
The community sits along the Brazos River just a few miles from the Lake Whitney Dam.
Deer roam the neighborhood at will and are frequently eating corn in the front yard of the Cottage.
Feel free to walk around the neighborhood, ride bikes, kayak up/down the river. There is plenty of room for parking. We ask that you only park within the designated parking area.

Hi! My name is Andrew and I enjoy hosting guests from all over the world. I'm married and have the joy of raising 4 kiddos just outside of downtown on a little acreage. I enjoy hanging with friends, meeting new people, exploring nature, listening to good music, and keeping enough room in the calendar for a spontaneous adventure!
