I am SO HAPPY that I found Ann's adorable cottage and this mini solo trip was more perfect than I had ever imagined. Cutest cottage in the world, fully stocked, quiet, spotless and COMFORTABLE! The bed, pillows and couch were all like floating on clouds! Ann has it so well stocked with quality items - it's like being home in the sense that you're lacking nothing. Close to the beach and walking around the cutest neighborhoods. Highlight for me was the Cypress Wetlands for bird watching during spring roosting time. I went there about four times. Not far at all from Beaufort with the most amazing architecture and history. This is the type of town (Port Royal) and cottage where you can truly relax or drive a little and keep super busy (golf, boating, fishing, etc). I highlighy recommend both Port Royal and Ann's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, safe and comfortable location and home.

We loved staying at Ann’s place in Port Royal! It was peaceful but also just steps away from the Main Street. We walked to get coffee every morning and found other local spots for dinner. It’s located close to a small beach and it’s just 20 minutes from Beaufort. We stayed with our 16 month old and the one story cottage was perfect for our family’s stay. Ann was incredibly responsive and helpful while we were planning our trip. I highly recommend staying at Ann’s place!

This cottage is absolutely adorable and is stocked with anything you could possibly need. We spent mornings and evenings sitting on the front porch with peekaboo views of the water. We enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood to see the nice homes, the water and chat with friendly neighbors. This cottage is walkable to shops, restaurants, a brewery, the Cypress Wetlands and more. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Ann’s cottage is adorable. It is an easy walk to Sands Beach and the Main Street of Port Royal. It is nice to read on the front porch. Street was quiet. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, one being en suite with Master Bedroom. It is 15 minutes or less to Beaufort.

This place was just what we needed! A very quiet peaceful location in a residential neighborhood but where we could easily walk to many things to do. It was very near the boardwalk where we could see sunrise and sunset over the water. We walked every morning up to the Cypress Wetlands (about 0.5 miles) to see the bird rookery and the birds building their nests. There were storks, ibises, great egrets and snowy egrets, various herons cormorants and even alligators! It was so outstanding we went each morning and evening for 3 days. We also walked to many restaurants for breakfast and dinner. And it was a short drive to many historical sites from Reconstruction Era, the Civil War and the Gullah Geechee cultural and historical sites. Just a wonderful location.
