The property itself is picturesque, clean, and tastefully decorated. However, the listing did not accurately reflect the availability of amenities. When we booked, it was stated that outdoor features such as a BBQ grill, fire pit, and patio furniture would be available in late April. Upon arrival, we discovered these were not accessible, which was disappointing since we had planned for a BBQ. Additionally, one of our favorite activities at Airbnbs is gathering around a fire pit, but there was none to be found. Upon inquiry, the host mentioned these amenities would be available starting in May. We noticed the listing had been updated from "late April" to "May" after our booking. Another concern is the proximity to three other cottages, which can make the stay less peaceful if they are occupied. If you're considering this location, I recommend confirming with the host that the amenities important to you are available before booking.

Beautiful home, surrounding area is amazing, quick drive to really good food and scenery. The pine wood in the house smelled incredible and the bed was very comfortable. We went in spring when leaves weren't in, so we could hear the neighbors at their houses really clearly (music, talking, using powertools) and also the construction in the area building new houses (intermittent dynamite and large machinery) so it wasn't entirely as peaceful as we were hoping. Im sure it isn't always like that but we weren't very lucky with our timing. The house is clean and functions well, but furniture is a little uncomfortable and we couldnt find a comfortable place to set up for remote work. We fell in love with the area though and hosts food recommendations were top notch! Perfect place to stay of you are visiting Montreal!

Andre and Joan were incredible hosts and their place was exactly what we needed for a quiet weekend to rejuvinate. We only wish we stayed for few weeks rather than a weekend. It was magical.
