The Beagle's Nest! Very tastefully furnished; this beautiful 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bath chalet offers a great family floorplan. The first floor features an open living, dining, and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings, a flat-screen monitor with Netflix, a DVD player with a large collection of movies, a Nintendo Wii with a number of games, a freestanding wood stove to cozy up to, (firewood provided) a fully equipped kitchen with higher-end stainless steel appliances, (including a dishwasher) plus a combination island workstation and breakfast bar. The first floor also features one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed and a closet offering plenty of storage, a ¾-bath that includes a laundry cubby with a stack washer and dryer, and an ad hoc game room featuring a ping pong table, and dryers for your boots and gloves! Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals another bedroom. This bedroom features 1-queen-sized bed, plus 1 set of standard-sized bunk beds…great for the kiddos…and 1 full bathroom en-suite. There is also a separate workstation for catching up on necessary work or school activities. You won’t want to spend too much time there, though, because just outside of the cabin, you’ll find a covered hot tub along with a private rear deck equipped with a gas grill…perfect for relaxing and taking in our area’s splendor. Don’t forget Fido! This pet-friendly (2 Pet Maximum, No Exceptions), wifi equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 6 persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!). **This house is subscribed to 100% Green Power from Puget Sound Energy** Wi-Fi / A/C / Hot Tub / Pets Ok / BBQ / NO Smoking The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and nature viewing. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Don't forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round! In this regard, Guests who choose to ignore house rules are subject to immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all rental monies paid (per the written Guest Rental Agreement). Guests are expected to always treat this private residence with the utmost respect, as well as to be mindful of neighboring homes and respect the privacy of neighboring homeowners by not disturbing them at any time. Guests are directly responsible for their invitee’s actions.
