Our 'in-town' cottage offers an open kitchen/living combo, 2 baths, one with slipper tub the other with a brand new walk in shower. 4 beds (Queen, Full & 2 Twins) Fenced-in backyard with an oversized 3-level deck. 5 min walk to Town, Shops, Beach & Restaurants. Pet Welcome (1 max/25lb limit) Front porch, fire pit, porch swing, bikes, fan & charcoal grill. (add'l nightly fees for more guests/pet-contact Owner for more details) Our restored 1903 cottage is conveniently located right in the heart of the island. It is walking distance to everything from shops, restaurants, fishing, museums and the local beach. We offer many modern amenities such as central air, FREE WiFi, stainless steel appliances, and stocked cabinets with all the essentials. New linens, bath products, beach chairs, slipper tub, porch swing, fire pit, rain head shower, washer/dryer, barbecue & 2 brand new bicycles to cruise around the island. Our cottage is a laid-back, beach style, comfortable space for our guests to enjoy.. with a 3 tier enormous deck. The enclosed fenced-in backyard offers privacy and is located on the bayou/canal. If you are bringing a boat, you can contact Cedar Key Marina for daily storage rates, which is less than a 5 min walk from the cottage.. NO parties or events are allowed.... NO overnight guests without prior approval (add'l fee required). It is considered one of the best places to visit in Florida. It is a haven of artists, writers, and adventure seekers who find the unspoiled environment an inspiration. So much to do on the island…from beach drop offs & tours: at tidewater tours, to spending the day at the public beach, fine dining, local fresh seafood, live music, eclectic bars & of course fishing right from the Pier. If you prefer to relax at home you will be comfortable with central air, a large welcoming front porch and a 3 level deck out back complete with seating, lights, barbecue, fire pit & porch swing.. Once you arrive you will not want to go home! Your perfect vacation awaits… Pet welcomed (1 pet min) 25lb limit. we do require confirmation and approval needed at the time of booking. We enjoyed our stay! Short walk to downtown and to watch the beautiful sunset. The house was very clean and we felt right at home.
This house has a very comfortable feeling Like coming home after a long trip
We had a great stay! We took our bikes, the kids loved our daily rides. Took the bikes to the park, shops, restaurants and for evening ice cream. Loved exploring somewhere new!
Had a great stay there. There is nothing like the charm of an older home. Nice quiet neighborhood.
Laura and co-host, Nicki make a dynamic duo when it comes to hosting. Both are quick to respond to questions. The neighbors on both sides are friendly and quiet. We had everything we needed to feel right at home! Back porch time for coffee in the swing was my favorite! Cedar Key is the perfect spot to relax and take in the sunsets. You could tell alot of love and work had gone into this place to make it the perfect oasis getaway. Although we had brought our own bikes, there were two bikes available for use. Check out Low Key Tiki Bar for the relaxed atmosphere, firepit and Adirondack chairs galore.

We absolutely love our neighborhood! How could you not be surrounded by super friendly, eclectic locals who are dripping with southern hospitality.
It’s peaceful and serene and only a 2 min ride on golf cart or 5 min walk to downtown where all the action is.
Please understand that CK is a small local island, and the homes are close to one another. Parking is limited to the front of our cottage with enough room for 2 cars…
If you have more vehicles, please DO NOT park in front of our neighbors' homes.. right around the corner from our home is a dead-end street, which is public for overflow parking… thank you!
I recommend using our bikes free of charge or renting a golf cart downtown.
Should you prefer to walk instead, it is less than 5 mins to all CK has to offer!
We have parking for 2 cars/trucks directly in front of our cottage, which has been newly grated with packed stone.
For larger campers, boats, or RV’s there is a secure lot less than a mile away (Cedar Key Marina) for you to park with low daily/weekly rates.

Where to begin? Let’s start with my wonderful husband Scott whom I have been married to for 10 years. We live in a quaint small lake town of Wakefield, NH. As business owners we decided to purchase a cottage in Florida and host our first Airbnb.
