The house is nice atop a hill overlooking tiny Pioneertown. What sold the place was the cliffside hot tub, however 3hrs prior to check in, we received a msg that the hot tub was inoperable. As you can imagine we were very disappointed and would've considered a different airbnb all together if we had more of a heads up. They were not in a rush to fix it prior to our arrival or plans to fix it during our stay. We called the Cohost Company and were on hold with them/waiting for a call back about potential new booking all together, meanwhile checkin time had past 1.5hrs. We never got an alternative option from them, so we decided to stay at the Lookout anyhow with no hot tub use. We did end up with a partial refund. The house has a nice big window in the living room overlooking the view which is nice. The rain showerhead in the clawfoot tub is very impractical esp for a woman not washing their hair. Very walkable to Pappy & Harriet's /Red Dog.

We enjoyed such a peaceful and relaxing stay at the lookout property. Hot tub was amazing, great spaces to lounge and have coffee and right down the road from some really cool shops and bars. Would love to come back!!

After having a stressful few weeks of work, this was the perfect staycation spot. As soon as I walked in, I felt relaxed. Stepping out onto the deck and hearing the sounds of nature immediately put me at ease. Check-in was super easy, the location was easy to find, it was bright and airy, and the bed was so comfortable. My friend and I wanted to cancel our plans the following day in hopes of being able to extend our trip a day, but unfortunately they were booked. It appears they’ll be booked up for the next almost 2 months so we were so happy we got to experience this spot when we did. We will definitely book this again! Thank you.
