We had a wonderful time at Susan’s home - the villa is beautifully designed, private and on a quiet street but easily accessible by bike, foot or car to restaurants, the beach and grocery stores. The house is newly remodeled and spacious with many wonderful interior and exterior places to lounge and relax. It truly felt like home. Susan was very helpful both before and during the trip. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

Overall, the house is very beautiful and stylish and is actually better than expected from the photos on airbnb, but there are few issues: 1) When we arrived at the house with our little dog - immediately he was full of fleas. Fleas were absolutely everywhere - when children played on the floor - fleas were attacking them and it was a terrible feeling that everywhere you move there is an attack of fleas. Perhaps, if our dog had a vaccine or other treatment against the fleas or if you are renting this house not taking any pets with you - the situation will be different. We also used all possible ways to get rid of the fleas - special sprays and other methods, but unfortunately they did not work and we had to leave the house before the end of the rental period; 2) The biggest issue was the communication with the owner Susan - even though at the beggining it seemed she is a nice lady with good attitude, then at the end unfortunately it became clear that its not how it seemed at the begining, because: a) After we complained about the fleas - she immediately told that its the fault of our dog - without knowing if thats the case; b) She has cameras wathing the house… so she complained that her things - such as pillows and blankets are not used in the way she likes - so basically she watched over you while you stay there and complained that we put a blanket and pillows on the floor for our babies to play on (even though the floor was washed before by us). To my mind - if you dont want things to be used by the guests - take them away and dont leave them there. This is not a museum - its a house that you rent with all the things inside. And its just normal that after each rental you must wash the things people use. c) After we left the house - we also got many messages from her - accusing us of taking some pillows and blankets… obviously, she found them later, so my suggestion - please always make a list of all things that are in the house… go through the house, check everything and then both parties sign. Otherwise you might get accused of taking a pillow with you.. ha ha; d) The return of the deposit was not handled well as well - we insisted we want to get it back the same day we moved out. She said its not possible and we will only get it back after 4 days. It made us nervous as you never know what happens if you leave the house without getting it but, but finally after 4 days we got the deposit back. As already explained above - the quality of the house is very good - just the owner need to think on a better ways how to rent it out and dont get so upset that people are using her things not in the way she would like to. People are different and if you leave things for guest to use - then expect those things to be used not just to look at them :)

La Villa è molto bella e curata in ogni dettaglio. Ogni spazio ben studiato e molto piacevole ed accogliete . Susan è molto gentile e premurosa. Un’esperienza da ripetere!

It's a beautiful, fresh and light villa in colonial-style with a lot of lovely details! The kinchen is well-equipped that let us cook with comfort and love :) Every bedroom has its own bathroom fully-equipped as well. All these details make us feel right at home. We really like that the villa is located far from the main road, it let us stay in the quiet surroundings. At the same time big grocery store Coop and two smaller ones, Balderi Piero and Alimentari di Santocchi Armando, are within a short walking distance and offer a wide range of fruit and vegetables. It was nice and comfortable to cooperate with Susan, the owner of this lovely villa. It's been a wonderful two weeks of our life and we would be happy to come back here some day in a future.
