Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und ihre beiden Hunde einfach toll. Wir kommen gerne wieder einmal, vielleicht dann mit ein wenig mehr Zeit. Danke viel mal für alles.

We had such a wonderful stay!!! Truly an incredible couple who responded to all our needs. Always giving us suggestions, always super kind and thoughtful! Even came to kill a spider for us in our room hahahaha! The scenery is absolutely stunning on the mountain! Definitely need a car rental however to get around. But what made our stay the most special was our mornings waking up to their kind faces and incredibly delicious food!! And the puppies! We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it! We would love to come back!

This is why we love shared stays! Anna & (Chef!!) Mike treated us like family from the first moment - there was a really warm connection with them right away. The place itself is built around a huge tiled patio to enjoy the incredible views and Mike's amazing cooking from. Macaws, woodpeckers, toucans, doves and hummingbirds are all regular visitors to their backyard :) their 2 adorable and playful little dogs added a bit of fun to the stay too. My partner and I came to birdwatch because it's close to Carara - - we didn't even need to go to the park! Trogons, magpie-Jay's, scissor tailed fly catchers, euphonias and more were all close by. Anna is knowledgeable about trails in the area, and there were barely any other people around (a big change from our other birding experiences in Costa Rica!). Did I mention the cooking? Don't miss the fish, the pizza, the curry...all fresh (like, Mike made the MOZZARELLA fresh). We also had probably the best margarita we've ever had...BOOK IT!

How we can describe how fantastic and wonderful our stay with Anna and Michael was. Their BB is in a magnificent, beautiful and extremely quiet location. We saw so many macaws and so many other beautiful birds. And not forgetting all the other sweet animals : Two lovable dachshunds. Noelle and Max ! We loved them. The room is fantastic clean, the bed is comfortable and the rest is just all you need to be happy. And the most important thing for us was… Anna and Michael are just two warm hearted and lovable hosts. We felt like staying with good old friends. And finally, Michael is a sensational cook!!! Thank you Anna and Michael for this wonderful days.
