Robyn's place is super quiet and peaceful. The water is very close, with access to it including a small sandy beach and large rocks to sit on. It's a great little spot for kids to explore. There is another bigger sandy beach within east walking distance. The house is nice, plenty roomy, and well stocked. The large front porch is a great space too. It was a beautiful, comfortable stay and I would go back again.

This cottage is a step back in time. We felt the history of the generations who have lived here since the 1940s and enjoyed all the "campy" furnishings and artwork. It's really well-furnished (lots of towels, extra bedding, cooking supplies)--we forgot a few things, (like flour and coffee filters) but everything is there! But best of all is the privacy and gorgeous view of the bay and beach right out front! It's the perfect combination of sand and rocks. The cottage sits near the end of a very quiet, small road; we almost never saw anyone else.

Great place for the family stay for Acadia! We had a great time walking the beach at low tide and hiking Acadia. The house is a great location and soooo peaceful. Early morning coffee on the front porch with ocean view is great. The airflow in the house is fantastic so don’t worry about not having air conditioning. Open main level and upper windows for a nice cool comfortable house. The property is also located near the Canadian border (approx 1 hour) we loved visiting the Easternmost Point in the Contiguous US, and then hopping over the border to see the Head Harbour Lightstation. The Head Harbour Lightstation is an awesome visit. At low tide you can walk to the island on the ocean floor! So cool! The location is an easy drive to Acadia or wherever in eastern Maine. Robyn is a great host and we’re happy we could add more fond memories to the property :)

Robyn’s place was perfect! The location was amazing with a view that can’t be beat. It was so quiet and relaxing there. Easy to get to places when we wanted to venture out. Would definitely recommend and would go back!
