Great location close to downtown!! We loved walking to dinner and also loved walking The Greenway. The guest house is very close to the main house, but it was no problem for us at all. Thank you for a great stay!

Our arrival was easy .the house was easy to find and our host Hayley met us and welcomed us to the house. The house is a perfect small house having all of the characteristics of an old house refurbished to perfection with excellent attention to modern detail but keeping the character of the property, Very comfy bed, excellent shower, fully equipped kitchen and spacious area for dining and relaxation. We felt comfortable and at home the moment we walked in the door. We were visiting friends in the area so cannot make comment on things to do in the area however we can tell you that the area is beautiful and at every turn full of some of the most beautiful trees ,shrubs ,bushes and manicured surroundings we have ever seen We highly recommend that you come here and enjoy the peaceful and welcoming atmosphere of this lovely property

Amazing experience!!! This rental is spacious, clean , and comfortable. The bed and futon are very nice to sleep on . The kitchen is well stocked (including a great blender) . The bathroom is spacious, fantastic shower and a nice hair dryer. The closet is large!! Area is walkable to a great walking /running park , lots of restaurants and bars , and a grocery. Neighborhood is quiet and charming and safe . The hosts are lovely !!! Welcoming and helpful , yet completely respect the privacy of their guests . I would return here in a heartbeat .

Our family lives in the main house. This is my childhood home and our personal sanctuary where roots run deep. To say this place is special is an understatement. I fell in love with nature here and planted the trees grown tall around you with my dad as a small child. My fort once stood where you will now cook your food.
The guest house you will be staying in was built for my mom to retire in by the hands of my husband and myself. It was built with love. We consciously held the desire of peace and abundance with each nail hammered and each tile laid. We hope that you feel this intention and find quiet comfort in the joy that this place nutures for our family.
Our neighbors are also family and represent some of the most cherished bonds we hold. They look out for us and we look out for them. We ask that you be respectful of the quiet safe neighborhood our connected community has created together. I promise, we will look out for you, too. Welcome to our home. We look forward to your stay. ❤

You can easily get around Matthews or Charlotte with a vehicle. Although, a vehicle is not required to stay here if you prefer to walk, bike or use nearby public transportation. Uber and Lyft are readily available, as well
