Unbelievably restful stay with a consummate country host. From gently waking to the sound of cattle lowing nearby, to huddling around the fire pit and watching the first evening stars peek out, Charlie’s place had many moments of tranquil and peace. The furnishings and linen were hotel quality and the support staff quietly cleaned after us (even managing to rinse off the dust of our car before we left). The location is convenient and you can access either end of the meander at your pleasure. A special shout out to Charlie who did not let a misunderstanding in our booking derail our weekend but instead made our weekend even better than we expected! We especially enjoyed his detailed recommendations of places to visit on the meander. And if that wasn’t enough, the friendly pups that littered (pun intended) the grounds help with any pet-related longings a traveler might have

It was lovely. I just like meeting the hosts. Towels were very hard!!! coffee was terrible considering there's a A roaster down the road. it's the little things that bring back clients

Stunning area, wish we could stay another night and just enjoy the beauty around us. Check in went smooth with all the correct details provided. It was a misty rainy evening and inside we felt cozy and comfy. The bed was comfortable and we had a great night sleep after doing our Sani2C MTB Race.
