This place had a lot of potential. It was in a beautiful area and should have suited our needs, but things went wrong right from the start. First, I could not open the door. I called the host who was incredibly rude, implying I somehow made up the wrong code. It turns out the code wasn't even the problem as both the one I was originally provided and the code he provided worked (which did not seem super secure), but the door was jammed so badly you had to throw your entire body at it to open it. Same from the inside- you had to use both hands (so couldn't carry anything) and really pull it to open. The back door was also impossible to open on humid days. Then, we had a major ant invasion, which the host obviously knew would be a problem, as ant traps were provided (and mouse bait in the pantry!) but the four traps were not enough and I had to buy more and some spray. There were cockroaches everywhere. I know it's the country, but get it treated. And there was a slug in the dishwasher. There was nowhere to dispose of trash outside, so to avoid the smell we eventually resorted to sitting it by the front door, and predictably, animals got into it. The bathmat in the upstairs bathroom was disgustingly dirty. The coffee maker did not work, but sprayed coffee and water all over. Prior to making the booking, I asked if there was an en suite bathroom and was told there was. It turned out to be a Jack and Jill arrangement, which would have changed my mind about booking it in the first place, but we made due. I would have contacted the host about the numerous problems we encountered, but he was so rude to me when I called about not being able to get in, I didn't feel comfortable contacting him again. Overall, staying there was incredibly stressful. It did have a nice oven though...

A nice house with a few barns outside and lots of things to explore. My girlfriend, her children, and I had a great time and will likely be back later this year. The only complaint I can think of is that there were a lot of ants in the kitchen but we all grew up in worse conditions so it wasn't really a problem for us.

Super cute ‘modern vibe’ farmhouse! Carmine was great! The place has everything you need and more! The kids bedroom was awesome! The kids loves the fuse-ball table and all the toys! Thank you for helping us create great family moments!

The location and accommodations were perfect for our needs. Definitely take a stroll around the grounds and to the pond.
