We rented the cabin over Christmas and it was exactly what I wanted. Rustic with lots of charm , but you are also right on Lake Norman. Loved the fire pit and the big outdoor table on the deck. The view was beautiful, the house sits up high so you can view the beautiful cove while you cookout on the charcoal grill. It was relaxing to have family all together with a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The small Christmas trees and garland were such a warm touch, all I had to add were my own stockings! We loved our time there and Samantha, our host, was always available even during the holidays. 10/10 would rent again!

Property was wonderful and full of charm. Loved the history of the house and the decor. Samantha was an amazing host. Very hospitable and responded quickly to any questions we had. We are definitely planning to return!

We had a great girls weekend at Samantha’s cabin!! The beds were so comfortable, and the spot on the lake was private and relaxing, perfect for floating. The bed in the loft was too hot for anyone to sleep, but would probably be fine for the colder months. Overall, we had a great stay! The state park and a cute winery just minutes away!

Samantha’s place was just as the pictures and the description described! The views from the house and dock were so great! Very peaceful and relaxing! Some of my family came here for my birthday weekend getaway and we couldn’t have picked a better spot for our stay! We had everything we needed plus some! Samantha was a very responsive and caring host and made sure we were comfortable in her home and had everything we needed for our entire stay! We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Lake Norman! Thank you Samantha for opening your home to us and we will be back!

Cozy cabin on a quiet cove!! What a cool experience to stay in such a historic home with updated amenities! We loved the large deck, the fire pit area, and of course the lake. The paddleboards were also a hit with the family!
