Leave the 21st century behind and immerse yourself in the tranquility of this riverside setting. La Petite Maison was built as the caretakers cottage for the 17th Century Mill of la Genete. Set in the courtyard of a 10 acre site, on the banks of the river Sane, La Petite Maison transports you back to a simpler time. Surrounded by river wildlife and the animal residents of the Mill you can rest, relax and recharge. No WIFI, no television, no microwave... Reconnect with yourself and slow down.... Set in the courtyard of our 17th century Mill, La Petite Maison has wonderful river views. Guests enjoy the tranquility of the countryside and a slower pace of life. Guests have full access to the 10 acre site

Super logement, très joli, bien décoré, esprit rustique et coquet à la fois. Les hôtes étaient très sympathiques, accueillants. Très mignon de voir les poules et un petit chat par la fenêtre. Des œufs offerts, c'était vraiment très gentil, je recommande !

La Genete is a tranquil location in the heart of rural Burgundy. It boasts its own bar and restaurant, with delicious food served daily. Just a short drive down the road is the famous Village of Books, where you’ll find the local butcher, baker, supermarket, and weekly farmer’s market (on a Tuesday).

15 minutes down the road is Louhans. Its world-famous market is a must-see, and it’s held on a Monday.

The Cote D’or is 30 minutes away through beautiful vineyards, which host wine-tasting experiences. If history is your thing, pay a visit to Cluny , Bourg-en-Bresse or Dijon, the historic seat of the Dukes of Burgundy. Nature lovers will appreciate the Beaume Les Messeuirs waterfalls; all these are just an hour’s drive away.
