Perfect size for my family. We loved the bonfire pit and ability to walk to the lake and use the dock for fishing!

The place was beautifully designed and very similar to the pictures! I can see how it might be a bit small if you have 7 people staying, but for my boyfriend and I, it was a great size. We had some concerns about the cleanliness in the kitchen. There was mouse poop under some of the appliances that were out and the tv remote was a bit sticky. The toilet in the master bedroom loft did not flush. We did not have a problem with this because we were able to use the toilet downstairs. The hot tub wasn’t heated up until the morning of our second day, so we were not able to use it right away. The hot tub was lacking in the maintenance department-rust around the top of the tub and the water appeared very cloudy, but this could just be because we weren’t really visiting in season. These are just the few problems that we had. For the price, it is something to consider prior to booking. Good location and within 10-30 minutes of all the places we wanted to visit, including Swallow Falls. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Overall great experience. I would recommend the cottage as well as the rental company to others. Lovely building and location. I had an issue with the hot tub and it was fixed promptly so that our group enjoyed that service over the weekend.
