You’ll think you’ve died and went to heaven. I can’t say enough good things about the spectacular location, the amazing property, and the perfectly organized home. The people were so helpful and accommodating in every way. You really need to take them seriously when they say, bring a four-wheel-drive vehicle, the last mile is pretty gnarly. Thanks Atanda Alex who is there and meeting every need and providing great recommendations.

we absolutely loved tres tortugas and felt at home immediately. the place is gorgeous and relaxing and it felt like a home away from home. we'll definitely go back 😊

Sehr tolles Anwesen. Alex hat uns ein Boot nach Panachel und zurück organisiert, damit kannst du dir die lange Autofahrt dorthin sparen und die Bootsfahrt genießen. Die Bedienstete waren sehr zuvorkommend und die 3 Wachhunde auf dem Grundstück sehr zutraulich. Hier ein Tipp zur Anreise: Wenn du mit dem Auto von Sankt Lucas kommst geht es genau an dem KM12 Schild rechts von der Strasse ab, (Die Beschriftung des Schilds sieht man nur von der anderen Seite) in einen unbefestigten Weg. Diesen folgt man ca. 2 km dann sieht man ein großes grünes Tor, dahinter verbirgt sich Tres Tortugas. Leider sind wir das erste Mal daran vorbeigefahren und an dem Anwesen links davon am See angekommen. Hier zeigte uns aber ein sehr netter Herr den Weg zu Tres Tortugas. Tolles Anwesen mit einzigartiger Sicht auf den Lake Atitlan, in absoluter Ruhe und tolles Wasser zum Schwimmen.

We arrived on a rainy afternoon by public boat at the Santiago pier. Alex sent a driver who was waiting for us and we rode in the back of a pickup to the house😂 It was a strenuous travel day but we were richly rewarded by having the experience of staying at Tres Tortugas. An amazing jaw droppingly beautiful estate. So private and quiet. We really enjoyed the dock area with rock steps down into the water which was great for swimming, paddle boarding,etc. The hike to/from the dock is not as crazy as other places we stayed. The house is fantastic but I’d rather spend my time remembering the outdoor areas. Bring your groceries. Alex arranged a private boat to take us to dinner one night at Bambú. Wonderful meal but not really worth the hassle of leaving the property. Highly recommend the experience of staying g here if you don’t need to be near a town. Thank you Alex and Janet.

El lugar es completamente precioso. Los jardines son espectaculares, la vista hermosa y con entrada directa al lago. Es un lugar aislado, perfecto para desconectarse y recargar rodeado de naturaleza. La atención de todos fue muy amable y no nos hizo falta nada. Lo súper recomiendo. Gracias por todo!
