Plenty of open and attractive space. Two full modern baths off each bedroom (each bedroom has a large changing area attached, as well). The kitchen is huge and fully stocked. Pillows and blankets are stashed everywhere for constant comfort. We were able to catch the the northern lights while sitting in the hot tub during a snow fall, and, since we were there for the new year, had a 360 degree view of all the downtown fireworks. Lastly, there is a private driveway. I cannot explain how seamless and easy this one amenity made our experience. Finally, the location is excellent; a hop, skip, and jump to cathedrals, shops, restaurants… Even the coastal side of downtown is only a 15 minute walk. I can’t recommend this space enough, and should we return we wouldn’t consider another property to rent.

This house in Reykjavík was more than we could have asked for, for a Christmas get away. The location is spot on, near good restaurants and a fabulous bakery only 1/2 a block away. The house was perfect for three couples to have their own rooms and spread out but also have a common area. Already thinking about going back again!

La maison est magnifique, décorée avec beaucoup de gout et idéalement située. Nous étions six et pourtant nous ne sommes jamais senti à l'étroit. Nous l'avons quitté à regret et espérons vivement y revenir un jour. Merci encore pour ce séjour enchanteur. t
