Jessica & family are lovely. The views from the fields, spectacular. So quiet at night once all traffic left the barn. The stars -- amazing. Sunrises & sunsets, wonderful. The place is pretty much as pictured, however what is not visible is that the sugar barn is right in the same area as the cabin. It was "eclipse time" & the area was much busier than normal, however, what I did not expect from the ad was that there would be traffic/activity in the area of the cabin outside of that & thought I would be a little more isolated. The cabin was not ready when I arrived, so Jessica gave me a tour of the sugar barn, which was wonderful. Her maple products are amazing! The maple cream - "WOW"! Jessica apologized as it was so busy and a few items were overlooked. I am used to off grid travel, so was well prepared, no problem. The bed was comfortable; the cabin toasty warm. Bring your bike! Richford has a rail trail great to walk/ride. A lot to do & a lovely, responsive host!

We had a wonderful stay at Jessica's cabin the night before a storm rolled in. Coming from Jay Peak, we told Jessica we wouldn't be able to check in until around 9pm. She was kind enough to show us where the cabin was when we had a little difficulty in finding it in the dark and even showed us arpund quickly to grt us familiar with the amenities. The cabin itself was very cozy and in a beautiful location, far off the beaten path with plenty of solitude. Maple syrup candies were just a bonus! Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely come again.

Jessica’s place is about a 20 minute drive from Jay Peak which was super convenient. It’s hidden in the woods of her maple sugar farm which is an even bigger bonus. There’s so many small gestures that Jessica included into the cabin that made it so homey and cozy such as bringing wood over to build a fire, gifting us some maple products from the farm, and giving us a private tour of the sugar house. Although it feels secluded there are stores and restaurants only 10 minutes down the road so everything is within a reasonable distance. We would definitely come back again!

Jessica’s place was really great for us , and was near everything we wanted to do in the area. She was a great hostess as well , and if we needed anything at all she was always available to answer any questions we might have or explain how certain things in the house worked etc. I highly recommend this cabin if you like Vermont hiking and outdoor activities in the area.
