What can I say? Juan Carlos is an incredible host, maybe the best I’ve ever had! His communication was on point and his hospitality is unmatched. My group was unexpectedly delayed, which resulted in us arriving 3 hours after we were suppose to… When we arrived, Juan Carlos was greeted us outside, walked us to our room, and had prepared tea and snacks for us. When we woke up the next morning, Juan Carlos served us a delicious breakfast before our hike. Pictures from the dining area don’t do the view justice, it’s absolutely stunning! I highly recommend this place if you’re planning to start your hike from Mollepata!

Large cottage with amazing location on the way to Lago Humantay in the Mollepata District. The view is truly stunning. Juan Carlos, the host, was very communicative and hospitable. There was a breakfast and lunch buffet available for S/13, very much worth it. Wifi was sufficient to send messages, make calls, and do some basic web browsing. For budget travelers heading to Lago Humantay, Salkantay, or surrounding areas, this is a great option. Two things to note: 1) We booked this as the entire place, yet there were rooms occupied by other guests. This was not a problem for our group, but I have recommended that this be updated if this is the case in the future. 2) The house is located in a remote area; therefore, there was no running water at night (this is common for rural areas like this in Peru)

Excelente vista, solo algunos detalles que mejorar en las habitaciones. Pero el trato y apoyo por parte de Juan para superarlo , lo compensan.
